Hi, I’m Shane Smith, General Manager here at Legacy Power Sports & RV. I’ve been part of the team for 5 ½ years and love what we do. Helping customers find the right unit or gear to enjoy the outdoors is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.

I really enjoy what we sell but if I had to pick favorites, Northwood and Suzuki always stand out. Both are built to the highest standards and never let us down.
When I’m not at work I’m spending time with my family. My wife and I enjoy hitting the Mount Emily trails on our Specialized bikes, and we try to sneak in a few camping trips each year—definitely not enough!

If you’re shopping here for the first time, take a few minutes to chat with us. We all love to help people and are willing to spend the extra time to explain any products or services we offer or just BS!

Hello, I’m Izzy! I’ve been with the Legacy family since 2017, starting at Legacy Ram before making the move to Legacy Power Sports & RV just over two years ago. What I enjoy most about my job is representing a world-class product–that's built here in our valley–and playing a small part in people living out their RV dreams. I especially love hearing the stories from customers about the adventures they’re planning with their new coach.

My favorite brand we carry is Arctic Fox—hands down. They’re the best in the game when it comes to quality and reliability. As someone who loves to hike and camp, I’m all about going off-road and off-grid. I take my Nash Trailer and Arctic Fox Truck Camper out to the trails every chance I get.

Fun fact: I didn’t even own an RV until I started working here!

Mike Weinkauf

Hello everyone, I’m Mike Weinkauf. I’ve been in the RV industry for 11 years, staying on board through the transition from Thunder RV to what is now Legacy Power Sports & RV.

What I enjoy most about my job is helping people find the perfect match—whether it’s a trailer, camper, or fifth wheel. My favorite brands we carry are the Northwood Manufacturing Line, for their unmatched quality, and Springdale, for the great value they offer.

Outside of work, you’ll find me riding horses, camping, and spending time with my dogs. I’ve also worn a few different hats over the years—I play guitar, I used to be a river and fishing guide, and I even owned and managed a restaurant.

Fun Fact: I have sold to customers all over North America. I even have a customer in Norway, and one in Chile! A little advice for first-time shoppers: If you can find a better-built trailer than a Northwood, buy it. If you can find a dealership with more knowledge and experience—go there.

Hi, I’m Scooter. I’ve been with Legacy since the transition from AC Power Sports, and it’s been a great ride ever since. Working in an industry that’s all about fun, adventure, and the outdoors makes every day exciting and rewarding.

If I had to choose one product I enjoy the most, it would definitely be Suzuki. Their bikes are incredibly dependable, and that reliability matters both on the lot and out on the trails.

When I’m not at work, you’ll find me doing what I love, riding my dirt bike and enjoying the outdoors.

Advice for first-time shoppers: Buy the right product the first time, not just the cheapest one. It makes all the difference in the long run.

Hi, my name’s Wayne. I’ve been with Legacy Power Sports & RV for the past 2 years, but I’ve worked in this very building for a total of 19 years—back when it was known as Thunder RV.

What I enjoy most about my job is building strong customer relationships and continually challenging myself to grow. My favorite brand we carry is Arctic Fox because it offers the perfect blend of form, function, and top-tier build quality.

When I’m not at work, you’ll usually find me camping off-grid, fishing, bowling, traveling, or spending quality time with my family.

My advice to first-time shoppers: Take your time, relax, and enjoy our laid-back attitude—we’re here to make the experience easy and enjoyable.

My name is Troy, and I’ve been part of the Legacy family for 10 years. I started out at our sister store, Legacy Ram, before making the move to Legacy Power Sports & RV.

What I enjoy most about my job is that it’s always changing—there’s never a dull moment. My favorite product we carry are beanie helmets. They’re the lightest, smallest DOT-approved helmets out there, and I highly recommend them.

Outside of work, I’m usually out riding my street bike, it’s one of my favorite ways to unwind.
